We keep the books for great venues.

could yours be one?

INDEPENDENT AUSTRALIAN VENUES, FROM SINGLE SITES TO GROWING GROUPS.

The hard questions

The questions that keep operators up at night.

Can I afford to open another site?

The answer is not in your gut, it is in your numbers. We build the picture from your real trading: what the first venue actually returns, what it costs to run a week, and what is left over once wages, stock and the ATO are paid.

You get a clear view of what a second site would need to carry.

Where is my profit leaking?

Usually into two lines that move quietly: labour and cost of goods. A roster that runs a few points heavy, or a supplier who repriced without telling you, will cost you a month before a quarterly report catches it.

We track both every week and flag the movement while you can still act on it.

Am I actually on top of the ATO?

Most venues find out they are behind when a deadline lands. Because we reconcile weekly, code GST as invoices arrive and lodge STP with every pay run, BAS is a review rather than a scramble.

IAS monthly, BAS quarterly, lodged in-house by a registered tax agent.

Can I trust these numbers?

This is the one that costs the most. If you cannot trust the file, you cannot make a decision with it. That is why every engagement starts with a full clean-up of your historic books before we run a single week.

The clean-up is free. You start on solid ground.

How we work

Your finance team, built only for hospitality.

01

We read the story behind your numbers.

Every weekly report carries consultant notes, not just figures. We tell you what moved, what it means and what to watch, in plain English.

02

Accurate, current, compliant.

Books reconciled weekly, GST coded as invoices arrive, payroll lodged with every run. Your file is ready for the ATO, your accountant or a lender at any time.

03

We scale with your ambition.

For most venues we are the entire finance function. For growing groups we run the weekly load beside your own people, with the same reporting format across every site.

What we run

Four things, every week.

The weekly rhythm is the service. Everything else is built on top of it.

01

Payroll

Award-aware wages run every week, STP lodged with each pay run and super paid on time.

Every week

02

Supplier payments

Invoices captured and coded as they arrive, then queued into one payment run you approve in a click.

Every week

03

Reconciliation

Every account matched and queries cleared weekly, so your books match reality rather than last month.

Every week

04

Reporting

Sales, labour, COGS, overheads and net profit on one page, with consultant notes on what moved.

Every week

Monthly

IAS

PAYG withholding reported and lodged every month, prepared from books that are already clean.

Quarterly

BAS

Prepared and lodged in-house by a registered tax agent, with a weekly reserve so the bill is never a surprise.

Annual, additional

Tax returns

Company and personal returns from the Foundation package. Same team, same books, no handover.

Built into the weekly process

  • Cashflow visibility, with your closing position and next supplier run reported every week
  • Supplier price tracking, with line-item movements flagged the week they happen
  • Group reporting, in the same format for every venue you run
  • A free historic clean-up of your file before we start

Hospo runs on tight margins. So does Roger.

Most venues see their numbers three weeks after month-end. That is too late to fix the roster or the food cost that caused them.

And most bookkeepers are manual, data-entry heavy businesses, so the monthly fees run high. We price so efficiently because we're very tech-forward, and we make sure the hours spent on your file are high-value work.

Roger is built lean on purpose: one industry, one weekly rhythm, systems tuned for venues. No CBD office, no partner lunches, no hourly billing.

You get a premium, reliable service at a price a hospo P&L can actually carry. Registered tax agents with professional indemnity insurance, run by ex-hospo operators who know exactly what hospo finances and operations look like.

DR AMIT TEWARI · FOUNDER

"I've left hospitality, but hospitality never left me."

Roger was founded by Dr Amit Tewari, who started Soul Burger and ran venues for 10 years before leaving the industry and founding Roger Financial. He realised hospo needed its own specialty bookkeepers: people who knew the back-end ops, how a week works, how to chat to suppliers, how to manage cash and credit, and what a good financial back end actually looks like. At a price that's realistic for independent, smaller operators too.

We use technology everywhere we can, leveraging the ongoing AI explosion to drive down our pricing while performing like the absolute best bookkeepers.

Roger is the finance department he wished he had when he was running venues. A hospo finance team who understand success in the industry.

Questions, answered

How much does Roger cost?

Bookkeeping starts at $399 a month, about $92 a week, and your historic clean-up is free. It's month to month with no lock-in, backed by a price-beat guarantee. Accounting is available from the Foundation package.

What's included each week?

Every week: payroll and super, the supplier payment run, bank reconciliation and invoice uploading, and your weekly financial report. Monthly IAS and quarterly BAS are included from Essentials up, with annual tax returns in the Foundation package.

Do you only work with hospitality?

Yes. Cafes, restaurants, quick-service venues, pubs and bars, hospo B2B, hostels and accommodation, that's it. One industry means our systems, our award knowledge and our pricing are all tuned for venues.

What does switching involve?

You nominate us as your agent on the ATO online services portal and grant us access to your Xero. From there we take over: we contact suppliers, redirect them to an invoice-capture email, review your books and begin the weekly process that helps you sleep at night! Most venues switch without missing a single pay run.

Are you a registered tax agent?

Yes. Get Roger Pty Ltd is a registered tax agent, so your BAS, IAS and tax returns are prepared and lodged in-house. We also carry professional indemnity insurance.

Where do you operate?

Across Australia. We're Sydney-based and the service is delivered remotely, so your postcode isn't a barrier.

Historic clean-up, on the house.

Tell us about your venue. We'll come back within one business day with a flat price, and we'll comb through your file and get you set up before we commence, no charge. Judge us on the books, not the pitch.
